The 95th Academy Awards ceremony happened at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles today. While every Indian was waiting for the winning moment of Naatu Naatu (RRR), the Indian documentary The Elephant Whispers has created history.
Directed by the debutant director Kartiki Gonsalves, the Indian documentary won the Oscar in the Best Documentary Short Film category. The crowd cheered when the short film was announced as the winner, and this was the first Oscar India bagged this year.
