Superstar Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan is in the last leg of production. TJ Gnanavel, who directed the critically acclaimed Jai Bhim, is helming Vettaiyan. In old interviews, the director stated that Vettaiyan would have everything that audiences expect from a Rajini film. Also, the director is said to have woven some social elements into the narrative.

Shahenshah of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan is playing a vital role. The makers have now released a picture of Rajini and Amitabh from the sets, which has started making huge waves on social media. It is undoubtedly an eye-fast moment to witness the titans of Indian cinema in a single frame. The shoot is currently happening in Mumbai.

Vettaiyan boasts an ensemble cast that includes Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, GM Sundar, Rohini, and Rao Ramesh in important roles. Subaskaran is producing this biggie under the banner of Lyca Productions. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the tunes. Vettaiyan will hit the big screens in October 2024.
