Shalini, former actress and Kollywood star Ajith’s wife, took to Instagram and shared this memorable picture after Ajith received his Padma Bhushan. While Ajith looks dapper in a black and white suit, Shalini brims with pride and looks elegant in a saree. Shalini also shared three red hearts while sharing the picture that’s going viral on social media.
Ajith was conferred with the coveted Padma Bhushan award by the Indian government for his invaluable contribution to Indian cinema. The Padma awards ceremony was held in New Delhi on Monday afternoon. Shalini, Anoushka, and Aadvik gave a standing ovation while Ajith walked the red carpet and received the Padma Bhushan honor from the President of India, Droupadi Murmu.
On Republic Day, soon after being chosen for the country’s third-highest civilian award, Ajith released a press note in which he thanked his wife, Shalini, and children, Anoushka and Aadvik. “To Shalini, my wife and companion of nearly 25 wonderful years: Your partnership has been a joy and cornerstone of my success. And to my children, Anoushka and Aadvik: You are my pride and the light of my life, motivating me to set an example for how to do well and live right,” said the Good Bad Ugly star.
