Kollywood star Thalapathy Vijay’s wife, Sangeetha Sornalingam, and son, Jason Sanjay, made a rare public appearance together at Chennai airport yesterday. This photograph featuring the mother-son duo walking ahead with a coffee in their hands is going viral on social media.
Vijay and Sangeetha tied the knot on August 25, 1999. Sangeetha is a Sri Lankan Tamil and was also a fan of Vijay. The star couple has two children, son Jason Sanjay and daughter Divya Sasha. Jason Sanjay is gearing up to make his directorial debut with a sports action flick, featuring Sundeep Kishan.
On the other hand, Vijay has wrapped up the shooting of his much-talked-about last film, Jana Nayagan. The film is scheduled for release on January 9, 2026, as a Pongal festive treat. Following Jana Nayagan’s release, Vijay will enter Tamil Nadu politics by contesting the 2026 Tamil Nadu assembly elections.
