Pooja Hegde is thrilled with the response for her latest film Gaddalakonda Ganesh. The actress played the role of a village belle, Sridevi, and it was an extended special appearance in the second half of the story. Directed by Harish Shankar, the film had Varun Tej and Atharva Murali in lead roles, along with Pooja Hegde and Mrinalini Ravi.
The actress took some time off after her shoot for Bommarillu Bhaskar’s film to watch Gaddalakonda Ganesh in a single screen theatre in Hyderabad, and she was bowled over by the response for Yelluvachi Godaramma. “THIS is why I go the extra mile to do what I do…to watch you forget all your worries,enjoy and DANCE like this in the theatres…the sleepless nights, the travelling, the standing in the scorching sun to make movies,You make it WORTH IT. THANK YOU,” Pooja Hegde said on Twitter.
The film opened well in theatres on the first day of its release and it’s expected to score big over the weekend.
