Pookie, the recently released Tamil Gen Z romantic drama, stars Ajay Dhishan and RK Dhanusha as the lead pair and is directed by Ganesh Chandra. Released as a Valentine’s Day special, the film failed to make an impact at the box office.
The film is now heading to OTT. ZEE5 has announced that Pookie will begin streaming on March 13, 2026. The movie also had a Telugu theatrical release under the title Bookie, but it received a similar response. It remains to be seen whether the Telugu version will also arrive on OTT simultaneously.
The film is produced by Vijay Antony, who also composed the music. The supporting cast includes Manchu Lakshmi, Pandiarajan, Indumathi Manikandan, Vivek Prasanna, Black Pandi, Aditya Kathir, and others.
