Popular actress Kriti Sanon, who is on a roll in Hindi cinema these days, has been slammed by hundreds of people on social media for a cover shoot that she had recently posed for. The shoot, which made it to the cover page of Cosmopolitan magazine, was organised at a private home near London, which had props of scores of animals.
The problem with the shoot, which many people highlighted, was the presence of a giraffe’s prop in the image. One fan even went on to say that while Kriti speaks about her disgust when she sees or hears about atrocities against women, it is quite ironical that she is okay with cruelty towards animals.
For now, neither the magazine nor Kriti have offered an explanation about the shoot or addressed the concerns of the readers.
