Bichagadu shocked one and all during the time of its release. Back then, no one knew about the film, and Vijay Antony wasn’t a noted artist in Telugu. But with highly positive word of mouth, the film created havoc at the box office. Surprisingly the Telugu version became a much bigger hit than the Tamil version.
The sequel to the film is in the making and is all set to arrive in theatres during the Summer of 2023. The latest news is that Star network has acquired the satellite and digital rights of the film for a good price. Vijay Antony himself is directing the film and composing the music.
The film will be releasing in major Indian languages. The film’s theme song was released a few months back and attained a solid response. Hareesh Peradi and Kavya Thapar play key roles. Fathima Vijay Antony is producing the movie under the banner of Vijay Antony Film Corporation.
