Sundeep Kishan has joined hands with Krishna Chaitanya for the political action drama Power Peta. 70mm Entertainments, the acclaimed banner headed by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy, is backing this ambitious project. Marking the actor’s birthday, the makers of Power Peta dropped a powerful new glimpse.
It opens on a high-voltage note with crowds erupting inside a theatre on the first day, first show frenzy. Amid the chaos, the protagonist makes a stunning entry, smoking a cigarette and delivering a commanding dialogue about a lion. In a whistle-worthy moment, he sets the atmosphere ablaze by hurling crackers at the theatre screen.
Sundeep Kishan sports a rugged period look with stylish shades, colorful attire, and a fierce aura. The reveal of his character name, Senapathi Ravi, adds further impact, hinting at the power and intensity the role possesses. His screen presence is electrifying, complemented by powerful dialogue delivery and raw attitude.
Director Krishna Chaitanya presents the character in a striking manner, while the dialogues highlight his strength as a writer. Cinematographer Madhie beautifully captures the period backdrop, and Mani Sharma’s intense background score elevates every frame.
National Award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad handles the cuts, with production design by Ramakrishna and Monika, and sound design by Sachin Sudhakaran and Hariharan shaping the film’s sonic landscape. The shoot is currently in progress, with the team recently wrapping up the first schedule.
