After making a decent debut with Eshwar nearly 17 years ago, Prabhas went on to establish himself as one of the leading stars in Tollywood by delivering super hits such as Varsham, Darling and Mirchi to name a few.

Prabhas is now a major force to reckon with not only in Tollywood but the entire Indian film industry. His career can be defined as ‘before Baahubali’ and ‘after Baahubali’, the franchise which created unprecedented records in Indian box-office history and made Prabhas a true pan-India star.

Post Baahubali, Prabhas’ popularity was such that his Amarendra Baahubali wax statue was installed at the prestigious Madame Tussauds museum in Bangkok in the year 2017. Prabhas is the first South Indian hero to get this special honour.

His previous film, Saaho, was made with a staggering Rs 400 crore budget. Even though the film had opened to a heavily mixed response, went on to storm the box-office, reiterating his crowd pulling power in the Hindi heartland.

And now, all eyes are on the Rebel Star’s upcoming vintage romantic drama, Radhe Shyam. Being made with a whopping Rs 250 plus crore budget, the film will be released as a Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. Prabhas plays Vikramaditya in the movie and his stylish first look poster has wowed his fans.

Prabhas’ next film will catapult him into a pan-international star. Touted as a sci-fi thriller with time travel concept, this Nag Ashwin directorial will also feature top Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone.

And then, Prabhas will llay Lord Rama in his much-talked-about mythological magnum opus, Adipurush. This pan-India film will mark Prabhas’ first direct Bollywood film.

Apart from movies, Prabhas is also involved in various charity activities. He had donated Rs 4.50 crores to the central and state governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and to the Telugu cine workers during COVID-19. He recently, donated Rs 1.50 crore towards Hyderabad flood relief work. Prabhas also adopted 1,650 acres of forest land in Kazipally as part of the Green India Challenge.
