The huge spike in the COVID-19 positive cases has led to a major health crisis, leading to the tragic deaths of thousands of helpless Indians on a daily basis. And for the last few days, there have been non-stop speculations that the union government will announce a nationwide lockdown from the night of May 2nd, after the poll results, to bring the catastrophe under control.
Earlier today, director Nag Ashwin took to Twitter and tweeted, “whether the government declares it or not…next 2 weeks should be a personal lockdown.” Nagi went on to urge those who say lockdown is not the answer to go see the hospitals and how overworked they have been the past month. “While we mass vaccinate, we must give the doctors some relief,” he concluded, and needless to say, his followers couldn’t have agreed more.
On the work front, Nagi is basking in the massive success of his maiden production, Jathi Ratnalu. He is currently busy with the pre-production formalities of his most ambitious sci-fi thriller featuring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan.
