Macho hunk Prabhas is currently shooting for his highly-anticipated period romantic drama, tentatively titled Jaan. With Jaan, Prabhas is returning to do the Romance genre after nearly a decade. Naturally, expectations are sky-high on this special film. Jaan is tentatively slated to hit screens during the Sankranthi season in January next year.

On the other hand, Super Star Rajinikanth will soon be joining forces with star Tamil director AR Murugadoss for a high-voltage social drama. The fact that Rajini and Murugadoss are teaming up with each other for the first time has generated a lot of buzz for the project.

Recently, the makers of the Rajini-Murugadoss film had locked Pongal, 2020 for their film’s release. This means that Prabhas’ Jaan will be clashing with Rajini’s film. With both the movies expected to release big in AP, Telangana and Tamil Nadu, a clash seems to be inevitable at this point. Let’s see how things unfold in the coming months.
