Prabhas’ last few movies such as Mirchi, the Baahubali franchise and the recently released Saaho were full of heavy-duty action. In fact, Prabhas is being hailed as the next big action star by the North Indian audience.
However, Prabhas’ next film, tentatively titled Jaan, may not feature as much action like in his previous movies. Jaan is a period romantic drama set in the 80s Italy. The film will reinvent Prabhas in a lover boy avatar. Enough care is being taken to ensure that the script will make a striking impact and the chemistry between Prabhas and Pooja Hegde stands out when the film hits the big screens next year.
Jaan is being directed by Radhakrishna Kumar and produced by Prabhas’ uncle Rebel Star Krishnam Raju. Amit Trivedi is the film’s music composer.
