Prabhudeva, one of the best choreographers in India, has played crucial roles in a bunch of dance-based films in Telugu and Hindi, including the likes of Style, ABCD, ABCD 2, over the years. Now, for the first time, he’s going to be seen in a dance based film in Tamil.
Titled as ‘Lakshmi’, the film has been directed by AL Vijay. The duo had collaborated earlier for Devi and ever since they have shared a great rapport. “We were almost planning to make a sequel to Devi when Vijay pitched the story of Lakshmi to me. I thoroughly working with him in this film and he has handled the dance segments quite well. Lakshmi will be quite an entertaining and emotional film.”
The film revolves around a bunch of kids and Prabhudeva will be seen in a lead role. Apart from this film, he also has Karthik Subbaraj’s Mercury slated for release soon. The actor-cum-director will soon collaborate with Salman Khan for Dabangg 3 which will go on floors later this year.
