PAN India star Prabhas collaborated with Sita Ramam director Hanu Raghavapudi for an action drama, set against the pre-Independence era. The film is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and is currently in production. Social media sensation Imanvi is the female lead. For a long time, there have been speculations in the media that the film has been titled Fauji.
The official announcement is yet to be made, but actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan accidentally revealed that the biggie is titled “Fauji” during the promotions of his upcoming film, Dude, which was also produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
Speaking at the Chennai event, Pradeep Ranganathan said, “I don’t know if I can say this or not, but my producers have shown me a few clippings of Prabhas sir’s Fauji. Naveen sir and Ravi sir are among the passionate producers I have ever seen. It will come out, and you will all witness it. What I have seen is extraordinary. Did I make a mistake by revealing? (laughs).”
