For the past few days, the makers of Samantha’s pan-India mythological epic, Shaakuntalam, have been releasing some interesting first look posters to reveal the key characters in the movie. Prakash Raj’s character poster was unveiled today with crucial details regarding his character.
In Shaakuntalam, Prakash Raj will be seen in the role of a boatman named Sarangi. “Aiding Shakuntala on her most important voyage is this humble boatman. He croons as he rows with his crew, describing the journey of life as he navigates through the waters,” the note read.
Shaakuntalam, directed by Gunashekar, will be hitting the big screens on April 14. Malayalam actor Dev Mohan essays the role of King Dushyanth in this Neelima Guna production.
