Ahead of the release, the makers of Salaar released the film’s second single, Prathikadalo. The song describes the characteristics of the protagonist. The lyrics penned by Krishna Kanth are very good and meaningful. The kids who sang the song did a terrific job. Ravi Basrur’s composition is impactful.
The best part of the lyrical video is the looks of Prabhas. The actor’s screen presence is terrific, and his looks are undoubtedly the best after Baahubali 2. The song ends with the saying, “Victories don’t come from wars. They come from forgiveness.” It also appears that Shruti Haasan and Eswari Rao’s characters are going to be very crucial in the film.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film is backed by Hombale Films, the production house which earlier delivered blockbusters like Kantara and KGF. Salaar also features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, and others in prominent roles.
