The first look posters of Tamil star Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s upcoming socio-fantasy film, Puli, have created a unique record. Released on the eve of Vijay’s birthday, the first look posters are now the most downloaded film posters in the history of Indian Cinema. Earlier, the record was secured by the country’s biggest blockbuster, PK. Needless to say, Vijay fans are overjoyed with this rare feat created by their favorite hero.
Meanwhile, the film’s teaser has neared the 2 million mark within less than two days of its release, showcasing the craze for a Vijay film. Puli has Sridevi and Sudeep in important roles and Shruti Haasan and Hansika are the film’s leading ladies. Devi Sri Prasad is the film’s music composer.
Puli is directed by Chimbudevan, who is touted to be a specialist at handling socio-fantasy films.
