Double Ismart is all set to hit the screens on August 15, 2024. But in the last few days, there has been a small friction as a few distributors in Telugu states wanted Puri to clear dues related to Liger’s failure ahead of Double Ismart’s release.
Going back in time, a few distributors created a ruckus stating that Puri first needs to compensate them for Liger’s losses and then release Double Ismart. Now that the Double Ismart release is near, the same distributors created trouble for Puri.
Now, Puri and his team have agreed to repay at least 40% of Liger’s losses. The deal has been locked, which has cleared all the issues for a smooth release of Double Ismart.
Ram Pothineni plays the main lead in Double Ismart, and Mani Sharma composed the music. Kavya Thapar plays the female lead in this film, which is the sequel to Ismart Shankar.
