We all know that Puri Jagan will be directing the biopic on Jyothi Lakshmi, and Charmi will be starring in it. However, Puri himself clarified in an interview that this movie is based on a novel by Malladi Venkata Krishna Murthy.
This is quite an interesting update because a movie inspired from a novel is something we have not seen from Puri previously. Off late, Puri has been encouraging aspiring writers to come up with good scripts. His latest film with NTR is also written by famous writer Vakkantam Vamsi.
