Several viewers have been trolling the visual effects, comparing them with big-budget Indian and Hollywood productions. Responding to the criticism, Abhishek Bachchan, who played a crucial role in the film, came out in support of the team.

He stated that Raja Shivaji was made on a limited budget and said it would be unfair to compare the film’s visuals with expensive Hollywood spectacles or high-budget Indian blockbusters.
