Raja Shivaji, headlined and directed by Riteish Deshmukh, is continuing its solid run at the box office. The Marathi film has successfully breached the Rs. 100 crore gross mark globally, thereby becoming only the second Marathi movie to unlock this milestone.
With yesterday’s collections, Raja Shivaji emerged as the highest-grossing film in Marathi cinema, surpassing Sairat. The India nett collections currently stand at Rs. 93 crores, with the original Marathi version contributing the majority share.
The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Boman Irani, Fardeen Khan, Jitendra Joshi, Amole Gupte, and Genelia Deshmukh in pivotal roles, while Salman Khan made a cameo appearance.
