Today marks the theatrical release of the Telugu-dubbed version of the recent Malayalam blockbuster Premalu, featuring Naslen K Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju in lead roles. As anticipated, the Telugu adaptation has received a warm reception from audiences and critics alike.
Renowned director SS Rajamouli, who attended a screening of Premalu this morning alongside the audience, shared his thoughts on the film via his X account. Expressing his delight, he commented, “So glad Karthikeya did Premalu in Telugu. It was a laugh riot throughout. The writer did a fab job in getting the meme/youth language perfectly right. I liked the girl, Reenu in the trailer itself. In the film even the boy Sachin is lovable. But my fav is Aadi..JK..Just Kidding.” The team behind the film is overjoyed by the positive feedback from such an esteemed filmmaker.
As a reminder, the Telugu adaptation of Premalu, directed by Girish AD, is presented by SS Karthikeya, the son of SS Rajamouli. Alongside a talented supporting cast featuring Shyam Mohan M, Meenakshi Raveendran, Akhila Bhargavan, Althaf Salim, Mathew Thomas, and Sangeet Pratap, Vishnu Vijay has composed the enchanting soundtrack for the film.
