In a roundtable interview with Anupama Chopra, Rajamouli gave key details of his film RRR2. When asked about the sequel, Rajamouli said that the film is in the scripting stages.

As per Rajamouli, there was never a plan for a sequel but after a lot of discussions, the idea was cracked and the scripting is on for the same, and his writer dad, Vijeyandra Prasad is on it.

For now, Rajamouli is busy promoting his film RRR as it has been nominated in various categories at several international awards. On the other hand, Rajamouli will next make his film with Mahesh Babu which is an adventure drama.
