Rajamouli had been extensively touring the USA over the past few weeks as he pushed RRR’s Oscars campaign. Fittingly, the film is making some noise amongst the international jury.
The latest news is that Rajamouli has won the prestigious New York Film Critics Circle award for RRR.
Rajamouli won the best director award for RRR and the same was confirmed by the jury’s social media handle a short while ago. RRR didn’t win the best film award but Rajamouli, who has driven the western crowd crazy with the adrenaline pumping action in RRR was duly awarded the best director award.
