Mythri Movie Makers has thrilled fans of Global Star Ram Charan with the announcement of a new movie, tentatively titled RC 17, under the direction of the maverick director Sukumar. The film will feature Devi Sri Prasad as the composer.
As fans eagerly anticipate the reunion of the blockbuster Rangasthalam team, an old video of SS Rajamouli discussing the opening sequence of RC 17 has resurfaced and gone viral. A couple of years ago, during the promotions of RRR, SS Rajamouli stated, “I know the opening sequence of Sukumar and Charan’s film. Obviously, I’m not going to reveal it as Sukumar could have a heart attack. But that sequence would be the most hard-hitting and the audience would quiver in their seats.”
Ram Charan’s fans are now sharing the old video on their social media profiles, envisioning another blockbuster in the making. To experience what SS Rajamouli felt when Sukumar narrated the opening scene of RC 17, we must wait for the movie’s release.
Sukumar Writings is co-producing the movie, and according to the makers, filming of RC 17 will commence at the end of 2024, with a release planned for the last quarter of 2025. Stay tuned for more updates on this highly anticipated project.
