King Akkineni Nagarjuna’s period drama ‘Rajanna’ is racing ahead with its production work and the movie is gearing up for a December 23rd release. Sources say that the movie’s audio launch will take place in a big way on November 27th. There is no official confirmation yet regarding this date. M.M.Keeravani has composed the tunes.
The movie is being directed by Vijayendra Prasad, father of ace Director S.S.Rajamouli. ‘Rajanna’ is being produced by Nagarjuna himself on Annapurna Studios banner. The movie is a period drama that is based on the real life story of Suddhala Hanumanthu. Sneha is the heroine in this movie.
Special village sets and sophisticated visual effects have been used to recreate Telangana villages of the 1950’s for this movie. The action episodes are said to be the highlight of the film and these are being supervised by Rajamouli himself.
