Rajinikanth-Vijay

Rajinikanth has finally addressed the criticism and allegations that surfaced after Vijay became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Speaking to the media, the Superstar said he chose to respond because remaining silent would make people believe the rumors were true.

Clarifying his recent meeting with MK Stalin, Rajinikanth said it was purely out of friendship, as they have shared a close bond for nearly 40 years. He strongly denied claims that the meeting had any political motive or was aimed at preventing Vijay from becoming CM.

Rajinikanth also responded to criticism that he did not congratulate Vijay. He stated that he had already posted his wishes on X immediately after the election results. Explaining the viral airport clip, he said a random person unexpectedly informed him about Vijay’s victory, and he did not realize it was a media interaction.

Dismissing the jealousy allegations, Rajinikanth said he has already stepped away from politics and has no reason to feel jealous of Vijay. He also pointed out the nearly 25 year age gap between them and said comparisons are unfair.

The Superstar went on to praise Vijay’s political achievement, calling his victory at 52 greater than the achievements of MGR and NTR. He appreciated Vijay for taking on powerful political forces and winning independently.

Calling Vijay’s success “a happiness mixed with wonder,” Rajinikanth concluded by saying he believes Vijay will fulfill people’s expectations and extended his heartfelt wishes to him.
