Rajinikanth’s much-awaited action drama Coolie has finally hit theatres. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film is receiving mixed reviews, with performances earning praise, but the storyline and screenplay facing criticism.
During the opening credits, the film’s digital streaming partner was revealed. Amazon Prime Video has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights, and Coolie is expected to premiere on the platform around eight weeks after its theatrical release.
The big-ticket entertainer also stars King Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, and Rachita Ram in pivotal roles. Backed by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, Coolie features music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
