It’s been four days since Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer opened in cinemas worldwide and there’s no stopping the Rajini Rage ever since. The film has royally entered the Rs 300 crore gross club and smashed several box office records globally in its 4-day run. Jailer is performing equally well in the twin Telugu states.
In Nizam, Jailer pulled off a massive feat on Sunday. The film collected a solid Rs 1.90 crore distributor share (excl GST) on its first Sunday. This is an unprecedented feat by any non-Telugu movie in the Telugu states. The film’s total 4-day Nizam share is Rs 7.20 crore.
With Chiru’s Bholaa Shankar performing poorly, Jailer is expected to continue its phenomenal run in the Andhra, Nizam and Ceded regions throughout this week.
