The present favourite girl of T-town, Rashmika Mandanna was in the news for her former beau Rakshit Shetty last year!

Although they got engaged in 2017 after working together in Kannada film Kirrik Party, it all fell apart as they broke off the engagement in September last year. That had indeed left those ardent fans of the Kannada film in deep disappointment.

Now, Rakshit has opened up about it about it for the first time when asked about it during the promotion of his upcoming film Athade Srimannarayana. When asked about how he got over it, he maintained the need to show strength of character and move on from what happened. He also admitted that he only wants to look at the positive aspect of the break-up.

Buzz was that Rashmika called off her engagement with Rakshit because she wanted to focus on her career. However, if sources are to be believed it is because Rashmika and Rakshit’s age gap also got in the away apart from her star status gaining ground.
