Hero Ram Charan won the Best Actor award at the recently concluded 66th Filmfare Awards South in Chennai. Ram Charan bagged the honor for his critically acclaimed performance in his blockbuster period rural drama, Rangasthalam.
In a latest interview with a national news daily, Ram Charan has revealed his touching gesture. He dedicated hits Filmfare Award to Rangasthalam’s director Sukumar. “I would like to dedicate this award to director Sukumar. It was his idea that was behind the success of the film,” he said.
Ram Charan further said that he doesn’t choose films or roles with the aim of winning awards. “I try to offer something new to my fans with every film. And that’s what I’m doing right now, I’m giving my 100 per cent for my next, RRR,” he said.
