During the Chennai press meet of Peddi, Mega Power Star Ram Charan congratulated the new Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and biggest Tamil cinema star Thalapathy Vijay on his grand victory in the Assembly Elections.

Charan heaped praise on Vijay, saying that the latter left cinema at the peak of his career to serve the public, and extended his best wishes for his future endeavours. Vijay fans are highly impressed with Charan’s statement about their idol, and the clip is now going viral on social media.

Coming to Peddi, it is a sports action drama set to release in multiple languages on June 4. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the movie stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, while AR Rahman is the music composer.
