Ram Charan’s diet plan for VVR revealed

Vinaya Vidheya Rama’s promotional posters and the theatrical trailer have showcased Ram Charan in a beefy body. Now, Charan’s wife Upasana revealed the meticulous diet plan behind the toned body Charan developed under celeb trainer Rakesh Udiyara’s supervision.

Charan’s diet throughout his preparation and the shooting of Vinaya Vidheya Rama was comprised of a fine balance of carbs and proteins. Every morning, at 8 am, Charan used to have 3 egg whites, 2 full eggs and 3/4 cups of oats with almond milk. And at 11:30 am, Charan would have one large cup of clear vegetable soup.

For lunch, at 1:30 pm, Charan used to enjoy 200 gms of chicken breast, 3/4 cup of brown rice and 1/2 cup of green vegetable curry. Another meal at 4 pm included 250 gms of grilled fish, 200 gms of sweet potatoes and 1/2 cup of green veggies. Finally, at 6 pm, Charan would have his last meal, consisting of large mixed green salad, can 1/4 avocado and a bowl full of nuts. Whenever he was hungry, Charan would take nuts and raw veggies between 8 am to 6 pm.

Charan was asked to strictly avoid coffee, dairy products, red meat, wheat and sugar fruits. Lentils, tofu, fish, baked, boiled or poached chicken were part of Charan’s protein intake, and for carbohydrates, it was oats, brown rice and sweet potatoes. Steamed Broccoli, asparagus and green beans were part of the vegetables.
