Tollywood star Ram Charan is currently working on the most eagerly awaited pan-India sports action drama, Peddi. The film is being made with a whopping Rs 300 crore plus budget, making it one of the costliest projects in the Mega Power Star’s career.
And Ram Charan is giving it his all not just for his role but also for the project on the whole. Apparently, Charan, along with Peddi director Buchi Babu Sana, is taking special care in closely monitoring the daily footage and also reworking scenes. Charan’s perfectionism for the project is leaving the entire team in awe.
Ram Charan will be seen in a rugged and rustic avatar in and as Peddi. His dialogue modulation in the North Andhra dialect will be a treat for his fans. The film is scheduled for release on March 27, 2026, on the occasion of Charan’s birthday.
Peddi has Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor playing the female lead, while Sandalwood superstar Shiva Rajkumar and Bollywood actor Divyendu Sharma will be seen in pivotal roles. AR Rahman is scoring the music for this high-budget entertainer. Venkata Satish Kilaru is bankrolling this prestigious project under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner.
