Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, headlined by Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi, is one of the biggest cinematic events in Indian cinema this year. The film is being mounted on an unprecedented budget by Namit Malhotra and is backed by world-renowned technicians.
According to the latest media reports, Panchayat fame Faisal Malik has been roped in to play Kumbhakarna in this epic. The actor impressed OTT viewers with his portrayal of Prahlad in the show and is now set to take on what might be the biggest role of his career yet.
Faisal Malik is said to have joined the shoot along with Yash. Ramayana also stars Ravi Dubey, Sunny Deol, Lara Dutta, Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal, Arun Govil, Indira Krishnan, Sheeba Chaddha, Adinath Kothare, and Kunal Kapoor in pivotal roles. The film is slated for release during Diwali 2026.
