The mighty Indian epic Ramayana is being retold by Bollywood under the same title, with Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi playing the lead pair as Ram and Sita. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, the film has been carrying massive expectations, with the earlier promotional content creating significant buzz around the project.

On the auspicious occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi, the makers have unveiled the first single, “Jai Jai Ram,” along with the motion poster featuring Siya and Ram. Composed by A.R. Rahman, the song features the wonderful melodic voices of Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal.

Penned by Dr. Kumar Vishwas, the soulful number beautifully captures the essence of Ram and Sita and is very soothing to hear. The lyrical video is also well crafted, making it a strong musical start for the film. A.R. Ameen and Hiral Viradia have handled the music supervision.

The song comes as a promising musical beginning for the film, adding to the buzz created by the trailer. With November 6, 2026 already locked as the release date, Ramayana is now gearing up for its major promotional phase, and more content is expected to be unveiled as the release date gets closer.

The film is produced by Namit Malhotra in collaboration with Yash, who also plays Ravana. Ramayana will release in multiple languages and also has Hans Zimmer associated with the music.
