Namit Malhotra made a big promise earlier that he would take Indian cinema to the global stage with Ramayana. With the film’s brand-new trailer, it can be said that he wasn’t exaggerating and meant it seriously.
Some of the visuals seem straight out of a Hollywood film, with the VFX work being absolutely jaw-dropping. Even the minute details have been superbly showcased, rightly justifying its budget. DNEG, which has worked on several award-winning Hollywood films, has showcased its first-rate quality, and the outcome is marvellous, setting new standards for Indian cinema.
The visuals of the monsters are especially spectacular, to say the least. The outstanding scale, Yash’s larger-than-life aura, Ranbir Kapoor’s magical presence as Lord Ram, and the mind-blowing war sequences are other highlights of this promotional asset, making the wait for November 5 even longer.
Also, tickets went on sale in international markets immediately after the trailer’s release. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana stars Sai Pallavi as Sita, while Ravi Dubey and Sunny Deol play Lakshman and Lord Hanuman, respectively.
