Marking the occasion of Karwa Chauth, the makers of Namit Malhotra’s Ramayana have unveiled Jatha Gode (Judi Jodi), a new song exploring the beautiful bond between Lord Ram and Sita.
Set against the backdrop of their wedding, Jatha Gode perfectly portrays their relationship, highlighting the themes of love, faith, and togetherness. AR Rahman has composed the melody, with Rakendu Mouli penning the Telugu lyrics. Sireesha Bhagavatula has lent her voice to this soulful number. We can see how effectively Brahma AI technology has been used to lip-sync the Telugu dialogues in the song.
Ramayana is scheduled to hit theatres on November 5, 2026, in multiple languages, including English. Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash play the lead roles. Sony Pictures is handling its overseas distribution, while Hans Zimmer is also associated with the project.
