Recently, Rahul Sankrityan mentioned that he toned down the violence in Vijay Deverakonda’s Ranabaali after a few test screenings. He has now revealed one more interesting detail.

Accordingly, the British characters in the film speak only in English for the most part, and Telugu overlapping was used only when necessary to keep things natural. The director stated that he retained the English dialogues as they are when the dialogues don’t hold much importance.

The same strategy was followed by master storyteller Rajamouli for RRR, without making the British characters speak broken Telugu. That worked very well in the film’s favour, and it is good to see a young director opting for an organic approach.
