Vijay Deverakonda’s next release, Ranabaali, has generated strong buzz with its song and glimpse. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the film was originally scheduled to release on September 11 but postponed. Today, the team announced October 16, 2026 as the new release date, along with a brand-new poster to make the announcement.
With the new date, Ranabaali is set to clash with Rajini’s Jailer 2 at the box office. It remains to be seen how the makers plan to take the film’s promotions forward ahead of the release.
Set against a 19th-century backdrop, the pan-Indian action drama is based on historical events that took place during British rule between 1854 and 1878. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead, while Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film, with T-Series presenting it.
