It is known to all that Bollywood director Nitesh Tiwari, who delivered a masterpiece like Dangal, is making a trilogy on the Indian epic Ramayan and the mega biggie features star hero Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, while the dancing queen Sai Pallavi will be seen as Sita. PAN India star Yash will play the antagonist as Ravana.
The movie will be formally announced on the auspicious day of Sri Rama Navami on April 17 as per the latest update. What better date can the team find than announcing the project on the birth anniversary of Lord Ram? Nitesh Tiwari and co. will commence the shoot in Mumbai this month, but the formal announcement will come out in April.
Plans are being made to release the first part of this tent-pole project during the 2025 Diwali weekend. Sunny Deol, Rakul Preet Singh, and Lara Dutta are playing Lord Hanuman, Shurpanaka, and Kaikeyi, respectively. The casting for Lakshman’s role is yet to be completed.
