It looks like the makers of the Hindi remake of Jersey have their eyes on T-Town’s present favourite Rashmika Mandanna to play the female lead.
It has been learnt that the makers felt that she could add the air of innocence and freshness that the character played by Shraddha Srinath in the original requires.
The lead role in the film will be played by Shahid Kapoor who is high on the success of Kabir Singh. Many didn’t think he would take on a remake so soon but it looks like he was excited by the prospect of the interesting story and character.
Dil Raju will make his Bollywood entry with the upcoming project.
