One of the major production houses in South India, Dream Warrior Pictures, has been entertaining audiences with good films like Oke oka Jeevitham, Khaidi, and Khakee. Now they are looking to continue that tradition with the film Farhana which stars Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role.
Farhana was directed by Nelson Venkatesan, who gave two Tamil superhits, Monster and Oru Naal Koothu. Star actress Rashmika Mandanna who is part of the production house’s other female-centric project, Rainbow, has unveiled Farhana’s teaser today.
Farhana, played by Aishwarya Rajesh, joins a call center job to support her family. The call center entertains the fantasies of its customers, who are primarily men. Farhana’s life turns upside down when her family learns this. The team states that the movie tries to provide a nuanced and insightful look into the experiences of women in general.
Aishwarya Rajesh as Farhana is splendid in the teaser. Acclaimed director Sri Raghava, Jithan Ramesh, Kitty, Anumol, and Aishwarya Dutta are essaying key roles. Justin Prabhakaran, who amused Telugu audiences with Dear Comrade and Radhe Shyam, is the music composer of Farhana. The movie releases on 12th May in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages.
