Recently, while promoting his upcoming film, Athade Srimannarayana, Sandalwood hero Rakshit Shetty was asked about his break up with his Kirik Party co-star and happening young heroine Rashmika Mandanna. Rakshit said that after their engagement, Rashmika had big dreams about her career and that it was a mutual decision to not get married.
Now, it’s Rashmika’s turn to open up about her failed engagement with Rakshit. “I fell in love with Rakshit and wanted to marry him. However, we postponed marriage to stabilize our careers in movies. But the offers kept coming and I found it difficult to cater time for marriage. Besides, it would have been a huge trouble for my producers if I married in the middle of my projects. That’s the reason why I had to cancel the engagement,” Rashmika said.
