Ever since she shot to fame with the Kannada version of Kirrik Party, Rashmika has been juggling between Telugu and Kannada cinema with ease. The actress has been flooded with numerous offers in both the film industries, and she is sharing the screen space with some of the most popular actors including Nani, Vijay Devarakonda, Darshan among others.
The latest news is that Rashmika will be playing the role of a cop in an investigative drama. To be directed by R Gautham Iyer, the untitled film will go on floors in July. Rashmika has a powerful role in the film and the makers say that there won’t be a song-dance routine in this film. The actress has also begun learning chess as part of preparing for her role.
Meanwhile, Rashmika will play the role of a cricketer in her upcoming film Dear Comrade, where she is paired with Vijay Devarakonda for the second time after Geetha Govindam. After making her Telugu debut with Chalo earlier this year, she has at least two more films lined up for release later this year.
