Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Irumudi is one of the biggest blockbusters in Telugu cinema history. The emotional family drama directed by Shiva Nirvana is racing towards the Rs. 100 crore mark.
At the blockbuster press meet, Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja said, “Greetings to everyone. Director Shiva has chosen some very good artists for this film. Komaram, Bhargav, Kishore- everyone has done a superb job. They have performed wonderfully. Ramesh Indira garu has also done very well. All those who played the students did a fine job too, and they all have a very bright future.”
He added, “GV Prakash’s music is the soul of this film. The music automatically brings tears to the audience’s eyes while watching the movie. Even my daughter Moksha got emotional and shed tears while watching it. Our producers Ravi and Naveen are very good friends of mine. During COVID, we watched a lot of Tamil and Malayalam films. Most of them were rooted stories. Whenever I watched such content, I used to wonder why we couldn’t make similar rooted films here as well.
Ravi Teja continued, “Seeing the response to Irumudi now makes me extremely happy. Everywhere, on Instagram, social media, and in the media, people are talking about Irumudi. Watching the audience’s reactions brought tears to my eyes. I am stone-hearted, and I generally don’t cry easily. But even I cried after watching this film during the dubbing. I choked watching a few portions.”
“The moment director Shiva narrated the character of Trinath and the title Irumudi, I felt it was next-level. Shiva has a great personality. Even after achieving such a massive success, he remains very normal and grounded. Priya Bhavani Shankar has performed wonderfully. The two scenes she did in the second half greatly helped bring out the emotion in the film. Baby Nakshatra has also done an amazing job and has a very bright future ahead of her,” concluded Mass Maharaja.
