Ravi Teja’s Eagle, which should have hit the screens on 13th January, is now officially postponed. The decision has been taken for the greater good of the film industry. Dil Raju, the President of Telugu Film Chamber, informed the same this evening. Dil Raju said, “We conducted a meeting with producers of Sankranthi releases a few days back. We explained them the ground reality and how the release of five films could affect the revenues. People Media Factory and Ravi Teja Garu understood this, and they agreed to move to a later date.”
The producers of HanuMan, Saindhav, Naa Saami Ranga, and Guntur Kaaram’s Nizam distributor Dil Raju, Telugu Film Chamber, and Telangana Film Chamber thanked TG Vishwa Prasad, Vivek Kuchibotla, and Ravi Teja for their kind cooperation. Dil Raju said that this decision has been taken in the best interest of the film industry and that it shouldn’t be seen in a negative manner.
Dil Raju said, “We will allocate a solo release for Eagle. The movie will now release on 9th February. Already, we spoke to the Tillu Square team as that film is also slated for 9th February release. Naga Vamsi agreed to postpone their film. We will soon have a discussion with the Yatra 2 producer to facilitate a solo release for Ravi Teja’s film. I request the media to not project this issue in a bad way. What we have done now is for the benefit of TFI.”
