Telugu audiences got another promising film this weekend with Irumudi, headlined by Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and directed by Shiva Nirvana. The film is already setting new ticket-sales benchmarks in Ravi Teja’s career, with more than one million tickets sold on BookMyShow and another one million-plus on District.
The momentum is equally strong overseas, with Irumudi’s North America gross now closing in on the $1 million mark. Back home, Sunday is witnessing solid occupancy across the Telugu states, pointing towards another strong day at the box office.
Adding to the excitement, the film’s peak hourly sales on BookMyShow have touched around 35K tickets, coming close to the highest hourly figure recorded for Irumudi so far. With demand remaining strong and shows continuing to fill up, the film is steadily adding more impressive numbers to its box-office run.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Irumudi also features Priya Bhavani Shankar, Baby Nakshatra, Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh, and others in key supporting roles, while G.V. Prakash Kumar’s music has emerged as another strength of the film.
