Ravi Teja’s Irumudi is continuing its box-office rampage, with the film showing particularly strong momentum in the Nizam region. After a massive opening weekend, the film has also started its first working week on a strong note, with Monday sales looking better than expected.
The Nizam performance has been especially impressive. Irumudi opened with around Rs. 7.5 crore gross on day 1 and maintained the same figure on day 2. However, the film witnessed a significant jump on Sunday, with day 3 gross crossing Rs. 9 crore, its highest single-day figure in the region so far. This takes the three-day Nizam gross to around Rs. 24 crore, with the share crossing Rs. 13 crore.
With strong word of mouth and solid Monday demand, Irumudi is expected to maintain its momentum through the week. The film is already being regarded as one of the biggest successes of Ravi Teja’s career, while its North America run has added another notable milestone with the film becoming his first $1 million grosser in the region.
Directed by Shiva Nirvana and backed by Mythri Movie Makers, the emotional action drama continues to make a strong impact at the box office.
